Your site has about 5 seconds to get your customer's attention. Devoted Designs job is to grab their attention and keep it. How do we accomplish this?
1. Quick loading pages. Not everyone has DSL, and even if they do it can still be slow. So we create pages specifically designed to load as quickly as possible.
2. A Design to reach your audience. Every site has a specific group they are trying to reach. Your site needs to be relevant to your target. A page trying to inform children of the dangers of smoking doesn't need to be stark white and bland, while a site reaching the Baby Boomer generation shouldn't be filled with neon colors and small fonts. Design is essential to your target audience.
3. Make it handicap accessible. All graphics have alternative tags that allow the user to see what the image is when graphic capabilities are turned off. This also helps your site with search engines because they can 'read' your graphic's text, but not the graphic.
4. Make it search engine friendly. If your site can't be found on a search engine it's extremely hard for your site to be found. Devoted Designs makes sure that each graphic has alternative tags, that every page has a title, keywords and description.
