5. What is a robot.txt?
By adding a robots.txt file to the root directory of your website, you can help control the indexing of your site by robots.
In this file you specifically list any pages that you DO NOT want walked and indexed (such as password protected folders and folders which contain only images, etc.). The robots.txt file is very simple yet very powerful and every website should have a robots.txt file on the root directory.

4. What are meta descriptions?
A meta description is just like it sounds: it is a description of your site that can included the site name and reason for site. Example: Devoted Designs is located in Benton, Arkansas. Devoted Designs is a web design company with the customer's idea and budget at the forefront.
3. What are keywords?
Words or phrases used to help search your website. Having keywords helps search engines to index your site and also aides users in finding your site.
2. What exactly is included in my design?
It's always good to know exactly what you're getting. Devoted Designs has no fine print. We always want the customer to be aware of exactly what they are getting. For all designs the following is includeL: custom meta keywords, custom meta descriptions, alternative tags, search engine submissions, minimum of 5 graphics. You have to be careful with designers because often these items are actually extra fees.
